Under the Bed + Dracula brings two haunting dance productions together for one unforgettable double bill. Under the Bed, produced by Valley Dance Ensemble, includes our Apprentice Company Dancers, and tells the tale of child afraid to go to sleep for fear of what monsters might lurk under the bed. The child eventually decides to confront that fear head-on and discovers a land of friendly Halloween creatures.
Dracula is a gothic horror ballet usually based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel. It tells a dark, romantic story about Count Dracula luring Jonathan Harker to his castle, pursuing Jonathan's fiancée Mina because she resembles his dead wife, and preying on Mina's best friend Lucy.
