Public Audition Details
Public auditions are held to fill character and children roles.
Dancers will be divided by height for auditions, and numbers will be assigned randomly.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to audition time to check in and warm up.
No one admitted after auditions begin. Height and age requirements will be strictly enforced. Measuring will be done at audition sign-in.
Parents will not be admitted to the audition or warm up area, please plan accordingly.If you have additional questions or concerns please email the Company at email@example.com

There is a $10 audition fee due at the time of registration.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND Public Cast Auditions will be held JANUARY 19, 2024. Times are listed below:
4:30-5:15 p.m. 3-4ft Girls
5:45-6:30 p.m. 4-5ft Boys & Girls (looking for children who have acro/tumbling experience).
Potential CALLBACKS for some roles WILL BE THE SAME DAY.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND PUBLIC AUDTIONS: January 19, 2024
Audition space is limited to 50 dancers per role.
Public Cast opportunities for Alice in Wonderland may include: Buttercups, Hoops/Pages, and Hedge Hog
*If the audition for your height is full, please DO NOT register for another height group. We will not be able to accommodate you at the audition.*
**No Refund will be made**
Registration will open on January 2, 2024 at noon. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, or when audition space is full, whichever comes first.
Once registration is submitted you will received: 1) a confirmation page and 2) an email confirming your dancer's audition. Please check your spam folder, if you still haven't received the email confirmation please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please print your email confirmation and bring it to the audition as verification of registration.
No in-person registration will be allowed, so you must register online before the deadline.
AUDITION RESULTS: Audition results will be posted under the "Cast" tab on Public Cast. Please check the website a few days after auditions for Public Cast results.

Please keep in mind the following Company Policies when auditioning:
Those who are selected will be expected to pay a $150 participation fee per individual which covers insurance, costumes, make up, rehearsals, lunch between one of the afternoon and evening performances, three digital posed costume photos, digital stage photos, digital historical video, and digital on-stage artistic video. Payment is required prior to the first rehearsal.
Cast members are expected to attend all rehearsals. Acceptance is a commitment. Every dancer’s attendance is critical to performance success. Full attendance at and participation in rehearsals and performances for this performance is mandatory.
Public cast members are not allowed absence from rehearsals for Nutcracker and only one absence for the spring ballet, except for extenuating circumstances which must be approved by the Artistic Director or Associate Director. If a cast member has an unexcused absence, he or she should expect to be dismissed from the cast. Please do not accept the opportunity to perform as part of the public cast if you cannot commit
to all rehearsals.
Please note that Labor Day and Fall Break are already scheduled off. Please see the anticipated rehearsal schedule below but take note specific rehearsal times will be posted on the Company website and it is each dancer’s responsibility to check the schedule regularly.

Super Saturday at Whittier: (from this point until the show is over, attendance is mandatory): March 9 (all day)
Evening rehearsals at Ellen Eccles (entire cast):

Parent volunteer support is critical to the success of our performances. Parents will be given many opportunities to participate and support the performance. There are also many times that parents are not permitted, including closed studio and theatre rehearsals. If parents do not hold a backstage pass, they will not be permitted to attend rehearsals.
