Iliana Christensen began her dance training at the Cache Valley Ballet School in 2003 and continued through 2013, including a year performing with the Cache Valley Civic Ballet Company. After moving to Virginia, she expanded her dance experience to include a variety of styles and performed as a member of her high school’s color guard. She later danced with the BYU color guard team for four years while earning her degree in Family Life. In 2021, Iliana returned to Cache Valley and rejoined the Cache Valley Civic Ballet-School while pursuing a Master’s degree at Utah State University. Her background in both classical ballet and performance-based dance has given her a well-rounded perspective on movement, musicality, and expression. Iliana loves working with children and has several years of experience teaching and supporting young learners, including time spent working in a preschool. She Is really excited to be teaching classes and helping encourage the next generation of dancers.
